Metanoia

A documentary series produced in Israel with 4PM Media

As the Producer for the "Metanoia" series, I had the incredible opportunity to manage a complex and rewarding shoot in Israel. This series is beautifully filmed on location in the Holy Land, showcasing sacred places such as the Sea of Galilee, the River Jordan, the desert of Temptations, and many of the holy sites in Jerusalem.

The production involved an eight-member crew, and we navigated dozens of locations throughout Israel. We split the shoot between Northern and Southern Israel, beginning around the Sea of Galilee and concluding in Jerusalem, with satellite trips to Bethlehem and other significant sites. Working closely with a fixer in Israel was crucial for managing logistics and ensuring the shoot ran smoothly.

"Metanoia" explores areas of our lives where conversion is often necessary, inspired by the first words of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark: an invitation to repent, change, and be converted. Each of the 10 episodes delves into significant matters of faith, such as who Jesus is and what we must do to inherit eternal life. The series features preaching from Fr. Dave and personal testimonies from various individuals, inspiring viewers to seek an encounter with Jesus and embrace the new life He offers.

This project was a significant undertaking, with challenges including scheduling and coordinating the crew's movements across Israel. The experience was both professionally and personally enriching, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to shoot in Israel again.

"Metanoia" is a production of The Ministry of The Wild Goose and 4PM Media, in association with Franciscan University of Steubenville and the Franciscan Friars TOR Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The series stands as a testament to the power of faith and the beauty of the Holy Land, inspiring viewers to embark on their own journey of conversion.
